About this mood board scheme
This olive green living room is a personal project of ours for our 1930s living room which has a fireplace and bay window. I wanted to create a scheme that feels close to nature and inspired by country living, while feeling modern and elegant (and cozy!). There’s two versions of this living room on this page; one with a green sofa and the other with a cream sofa, as I am unsure which to pick yet!
This paint colour is warm and cozy and changes brightness depending on the light. During the day in a south west facing room, it’s light and airy. During wintertime and on the evenings, it’s moodier and feels very ‘periodic’ against traditional features like a fireplace.
